We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced DME Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative to manage outstanding claims, follow up with insurance payers, and ensure timely reimbursement for Durable Medical Equipment services. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of DME billing, denial management, and payer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers
- Review AR aging reports and prioritize accounts for timely resolution
- Analyze and resolve claim denials related to authorization, eligibility, and coding issues
- Submit corrected claims, appeals, and supporting documentation
- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
- Work closely with billing and documentation teams to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate notes and updates in the billing system
- Handle patient balances including copays, deductibles, and non-covered items
Requirements:
- 1–3+ years of experience in DME billing or healthcare AR
- Strong understanding of HCPCS codes and DME billing guidelines
- Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance follow-ups
- Knowledge of denial management and appeals process
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in medical billing software and clearinghouses
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets
Pay: ₹21,034.92 - ₹61,400.92 per month
