About the Role
VIBGYOR High School, NIBM, Pune is seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher (Badminton) with strong theoretical and practical knowledge of the sport. The ideal candidate should be capable of coaching students across various age groups, conducting training sessions, and promoting sportsmanship and physical fitness.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct Badminton coaching sessions for students.
- Teach both the theoretical and practical aspects of Badminton.
- Train students in game techniques, rules, strategies, fitness, and sports ethics.
- Organize inter-house, inter-school, and sports events/tournaments.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure student safety and proper maintenance of sports equipment.
- Encourage participation in sports and physical fitness activities.
- Maintain records of student progress and attendance.
- Collaborate with school staff to support the overall development of students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) / Master's Degree (M.P.Ed.) preferred.
- Certification or specialization in Badminton will be an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Physical Education Teacher, Sports Coach, or Badminton Coach.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of Badminton rules, techniques, and tournament formats.
- Excellent practical coaching skills and demonstration abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in school sports programs.
- Event management and tournament coordination.
- Knowledge of fitness training and injury prevention.
- Strong classroom and student management skills.
