We are seeking 7-12 years experienced Senior Embedded Engineer who will be responsible for spearheading cross-functional hardware/Software development projects with a focus on camera systems and drone platforms. This role requires deep technical expertise in electronics hardware design, IT networking, and computer vision, combined with strong leadership skills to manage a team of hardware developers and interns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team including hardware developers and interns.
- Define project scopes, set objectives, and establish timelines ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives between electronics, IT, network, and computer vision teams.
- Project & Technical Management:
- Oversee design, development, and testing of advanced camera and drone systems.
- Drive the integration of hardware with embedded software, network connectivity, and computer vision modules.
- Ensure adherence to design standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the main technical point of contact between engineering, product management, and external vendors.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, technical reviews, and status updates to senior management.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry trends in electronics, IoT, computer vision, and UAV (drone) technologies.
- Encourage innovation in hardware design and system integration processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in hardware development with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in designing and integrating systems that involve camera technologies, drones, or computer vision.
- Strong understanding of IT networking protocols, embedded systems, and sensor integration.
- Excellent project management, communication, and team-building skills.
- Experience with CAD tools, simulation software, and hardware debugging tools.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus.
