About the Role
"Catch Your Happiness" is looking for a compassionate, responsible, and healthcare-oriented *Elder Care & Healthcare Support Intern* to support the well-being of our Elder community. This opportunity is ideal for nursing students, recent graduates, or individuals pursuing a career in healthcare and elder care.
The intern will play a vital role in assisting with healthcare coordination, monitoring wellness needs, and managing our emergency response system, including the panic button support service. This role offers meaningful hands-on experience in elder care, health support, and emergency assistance coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to panic button alerts promptly and efficiently.
- Provide first-level support and reassurance during emergency or urgent situations.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, caregivers, family members, and emergency contacts when required.
- Assist in managing the healthcare needs and wellness support of our Elders.
- Maintain accurate health records, incident reports, and follow-up documentation.
- Conduct regular wellness check-ins and ensure timely escalation of medical concerns.
- Support health-related programs, awareness sessions, and preventive care initiatives for Elders.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless healthcare service delivery.
Required Skills
- Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Nursing, Healthcare, or a related medical field.
- Strong understanding of basic patient care and emergency response protocols.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during urgent situations.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with digital healthcare tools.
- Prior experience in patient care, elder care, or healthcare support is an added advantage.
Internship Benefits
