Job Description:
Are you an experienced BIM Modeler/Engineer with a proven track record in electrical systems and expertise in shop drawings, particularly in the context of US projects? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed electrical BIM models using Revit based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to integrate electrical systems into the overall building model.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations in all BIM models.
- Review and interpret construction documents, specifications, and shop drawings to accurately represent electrical systems in the BIM model.
- Collaborate with other disciplines (architectural, structural, mechanical) to coordinate and resolve clashes in the BIM environment.
- Generate and manage shop drawings for electrical components and systems.
- Conduct regular model reviews to identify and resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams regarding BIM-related issues.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the latest BIM technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks.
- Experience in creating and managing shop drawings for electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes.
