Qualifications & Skills required
- Graduate
- Degree/Diploma in Labour Welfare / Social Welfare / Labour Studies / Personnel Management / Industrial Relations as prescribed under Maharashtra Welfare Officer Rules
- Adequate knowledge of Marathi is mandatory
- Candidates eligible for appointment under Maharashtra Welfare Officers Rules will be preferred
- Strong understanding of labour laws and factory compliance
- Good industrial relations and grievance-handling skills . Proven record of union management.
Experience
- 15-20 years of HR/Welfare/Admin experience with minimum 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup
Key Responsibilities
Labour Law Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, labour laws, and Maharashtra Factory Rules
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation related to labour compliance
- Coordinate inspections and liaise with labour departments and government authorities
- Prepare reports related to labour welfare and statutory compliance
- Maintain attendance and workforce-related statutory records where required
Worker Welfare
- Oversee welfare facilities including canteen, sanitation, drinking water, medical, housing, and recreational facilities
- Address employee grievances and support worker welfare initiatives
- Conduct awareness programs related to safety, health, welfare, and statutory benefits
- Work closely with HR and Safety teams on workplace welfare and compliance matters
- Support implementation of occupational health and safety initiatives
- Assist employees with statutory benefits and welfare schemes
Industrial Relations
- Maintain harmonious relations between management and workers
- Coordinate with unions/workmen representatives
- Assist in grievance handling, disciplinary matters, domestic inquiries, and dispute resolution
- Support wage settlement discussions and labour office coordination
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
