- Plan and manage daily transportation activities for domestic shipments.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of cargo as per customer commitments.
- Coordinate with warehouse, operations, customer service, and sales teams.
- Monitor shipment movement and resolve transportation-related issues promptly.
- Optimize vehicle utilization and reduce transit delays.
- Develop and maintain relationships with transport vendors and carriers.
- Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements.
- Monitor transporter performance and ensure service quality.
- Optimize routes to reduce transportation costs and improve efficiency.
- Handle transportation-related customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with transportation laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
- Foster teamwork and operational discipline.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transportation reports.
- Maintain transportation records, delivery documentation, and vendor performance reports.
Required Skills:
- 6–10 years of experience in transportation or logistics operations.
- Experience in freight forwarding, 3PL, NVOCC, or transportation companies is preferred.
- Customer relationship management
- Knowledge of transportation regulations
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
