Job Summary
Pentoz Restaurant is seeking a skilled and experienced Biryani Master / Chef / Cook to prepare authentic and flavorful biryanis while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare various types of biryani (Chicken, Mutton, Fish, Veg, and Special Biryani).
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Manage marination, spice mixing, rice preparation, and cooking processes.
- Monitor food quality and maintain proper portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Check inventory and coordinate ingredient requirements with management.
- Follow food safety standards and kitchen procedures.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Biryani Master, Chef, or Cook.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern biryani preparation techniques.
- Ability to prepare food for both individual orders and bulk catering.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet service timelines.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering services.
- Knowledge of South Indian and North Indian cuisine is an added advantage.
- Ability to create new recipes and menu variations.
