The Senior Coordinator will oversee the academic and administrative functioning of the school, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, adherence to CBSE guidelines, and implementation of high-quality teaching-learning practices. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience in CBSE curriculum planning, school administration, and staff management.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Coordination
- Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum and NEP 2020 guidelines.
- Monitor lesson plans, annual planners, assessments, and syllabus completion.
- Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Plan and execute examinations, result analysis, and remedial action plans.
- Coordinate academic calendars, timetables, co-curricular activities, and school events.
- Mentor and support teachers in pedagogy, classroom management, and professional development.
CBSE Compliance
- Ensure compliance with CBSE Affiliation Bye-laws and board directives.
- Coordinate CBSE inspections, documentation, and record maintenance.
- Manage board registrations, LOC, examination-related work, and mandatory CBSE uploads.
- Maintain academic records and statutory documents required by CBSE.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Supervise daily school operations and ensure discipline across the campus.
- Coordinate with various departments for smooth functioning of the school.
- Monitor attendance of students and staff.
- Assist in policy implementation, school audits, and administrative planning.
- Handle parent concerns and conduct parent-teacher meetings professionally.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with school SOPs.
Leadership & Staff Management
- Lead and motivate academic and non-academic staff.
- Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews.
- Support recruitment, induction, and teacher orientation programs.
- Promote collaboration and continuous improvement among staff.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in any discipline with B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Minimum 8–10 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school.
- At least 3–5 years of experience as Coordinator, Vice Principal, Academic Head, or equivalent.
