We are looking for a Developer to join our Website Maintenance team. This role is not about building websites from the ground up — it’s about keeping existing WordPress websites running at their very best.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update existing WordPress websites — keeping them secure, current, and performing at their best.
- Create, edit, and manage web pages using WordPress themes and page builders (Elementor, DIVI, Cornerstone, or similar).
- Implement content updates, layout changes, and new page builds based on client briefs with accuracy.
- Ensure all websites are fully mobile-responsive and deliver a smooth user experience across devices and browsers.
- Optmize website speed and performance — including image compression, caching configuration, plugin optimization, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
SKILLS
- Strong command of HTML5 and CSS3 — able to write, read, and debug code confidently.
- Solid working experience with WordPress — including themes, plugins, the block editor (Gutenberg), and the WordPress admin ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major page builder: Elementor, DIVI, Cornerstone, or equivalent.
- Basic to intermediate PHP and JavaScript/jQuery skills — sufficient for troubleshooting, customizing functions, and modifying scripts.
