Job Summary:
The Senior Executive – Labour Compliance will be responsible for end-to-end statutory labour compliance for the company, its sites, and applicable establishments. The role includes statutory registrations, monthly challans, returns, labour licences, contractor compliance, inspections, notices, and maintenance of statutory records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end EPF compliance, including monthly challans/ECR, returns, UAN/KYC matters, employee queries, inspections, notices, and coordination with EPFO.
- Manage ESIC compliance, including employee registration, IP details, monthly contribution/challan, returns, dependent updates, benefits-related matters, and ESIC correspondence.
- Handle Professional Tax (PT) compliance, including PTRC/PTEC payments, returns, registrations, amendments, and notices.
- Manage Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund (MLWF) calculations, deductions, payments, returns, and related compliance.
- Handle compliance and periodic returns under the Shops & Establishments Act, including registration, renewal/amendment and maintenance of statutory records.
- Manage BOCW registrations/licences, commencement/completion-related compliance, statutory returns, registers, and coordination with concerned authorities.
- Handle applicable Contract Labour / labour licence compliance, including registrations, licences, renewals/amendments and statutory documentation.
- Prepare and submit all applicable monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual statutory returns within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, abstracts, employee documentation, challans, acknowledgements, and compliance trackers.
- Verify contractor/subcontractor labour compliance, including PF, ESIC, wages, attendance, bank payment proof, PT, MLWF, WC policy and other applicable documents.
- Coordinate with project/site teams for labour deployment details and site-specific statutory requirements.
- Liaise with Labour Department, EPFO, ESIC, BOCW and other government authorities for registrations, inspections, notices and compliance matters.
- Prepare replies and supporting documents for statutory notices, inspections and audits in coordination with management/consultants.
- Maintain a compliance calendar and ensure there are no delays in statutory payments, returns, renewals or licence validity.
- Keep track of amendments/changes in applicable labour laws and implement necessary compliance changes.
Qualification & Experience:
Graduate in Commerce/HR/Law or relevant discipline with 4–7 years of hands-on experience in labour and statutory compliance, preferably in the construction/contracting industry.
Required Knowledge:
Strong practical knowledge of PF, ESIC, PT, MLWF, Shops & Establishments, BOCW, Contract Labour compliance, statutory returns, labour licences, contractor compliance and government portals. Good Excel skills and experience in dealing with labour authorities are essential.
Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
