About the Role
We are a lighting company seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting site visits, assessing project requirements, and carrying out the installation of various electrical and lighting products at customer locations. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to inspect project locations and understand customer requirements.
- Measure spaces and count the quantity of materials and products required for each project.
- Prepare accurate material and installation requirement reports.
- Install and commission lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, chandeliers, exhaust fans, switches, sockets, and other electrical accessories.
- Perform electrical wiring, connections, testing, and troubleshooting as required.
- Ensure all installations comply with electrical safety standards and company quality guidelines.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams regarding site requirements and project schedules.
- Identify and report any site-related challenges before installation.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Provide courteous and professional service while interacting with customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Electrician or a related electrical trade (preferred).
- Experience in electrical installations, preferably in residential and commercial projects.
- Ability to read basic electrical layouts and installation drawings.
- Good understanding of electrical safety practices and wiring standards.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physically fit and willing to travel for site visits and installations.
- Valid driver's license is an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience installing decorative lighting, chandeliers, ceiling fans, and premium lighting products.
- Familiarity with LED lighting systems and modern electrical accessories.
