We are looking for a Safety Supervisor for Project ongoing work at Korba inside a prestigious client workplace.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF WORK
1. Carrying safety awareness among workers through tool box, safety induction, pep talks, safety mass , conduct safety audit of documents site safety conditions, maintain compliance report of internal audit, client audit, external audit.
2. Inspection of Fire Extinguisher and refilling. Emergency response, planning. Lifting tools tackles, compressor test by third party competent approved agencies.
3. Induction training, tool box talk, minutes of meeting, safety training with display safety presentation safety movie and arrange other safety promotional program.
4. To prepare the safety documentation, all types, safety checklist, safety observation report, accident report, monthly safety statistics report and etc.
5. Regular periodic inspection of PPE to ensure that suitable PPE’s are available and used by employees according to hazard exposure.
6. Issue safety violation warnings to the employee not complying with site safety rules regulations.
7. To ensure good traffic management plan at working sites.
8. Regularly conduct site meeting.
9. Active Participation in Major Shutdowns of Unit, Issues and cancellation PTW (Permit to Work) with Loto system (By SAP and Manual permits both), Raising Defects / faults in SAP, Safe isolation & personal safety and equipment safety.
Safety Work
1. Issuing Safety Work permits.
2. MSDS review of chemicals at inception stage.
3. Organizing coordinating for mock drills at periodic intervals.
4. Fire equipment procurement maintenance.
5. Investigation of accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions.
6. Tool box talk, Practical training also induct new joiners impart training.
7. Safety Inspections / Audits of plant areas.
8. Emergency Preparedness – Mock drills Fire drills.
9. Accident Investigation, Reporting Management Appraisal. (To manage accident /incident management system i.e. reporting of near miss / first aid injuries etc. investigation of all incidents based on that take preventive measure / action implementation of same by compliance across the location).
11. Operation specific usage maintenance of Personal protective Equipment’s.
12. Work area monitoring (Industrial hygiene monitoring).
13. Conducting safety committee meetings.
