Job description : QAQC Engineer (electrical)
Exp : 2-3 Yrs
Education-Diploma/Degree (preferably BE/B.Tech/in Electrical)
Qualification Experience: B.E / Dip. (Electrical)
1. Shall have a minimum of 3 years of quality control and inspection experience in EPC projects.
2. Shall be familiar with relevant material, Testing, Instruments used construction/works codes used in the industry in the respective field of activity.
3. Knowledge on equipment installations, inspection maintenance shall have added advantage.
4. Shall be familiar with electrical construction materials construction methods, testing of electrical equipments and installations, HV/LV system installation/ testing/ commissioning, installation testing of EHV Transmission lines & SUbstations, international codes and standards for electrical design, construction and testing of facilities and works.
5. Knowledge and experience with High voltage equipment switching and maintenance.
6. Experience in testing and commissioning electrical systems.
7. Process and Final Inspection of all construction works at project site;
8.Adherence ISO 9001 standards
9.Support Client team for technical closure of NCRs .
Duties Responsibilities:
1. Implement QA/QC activities including those of sub-contractors works in accordance with approved QCP /ITPs and Procedures, method statements and other Project/contract documents.
2. Prepares and signoff applicable records for quality surveillance / inspections / tests.
3. Maintain records of calibration, inspection and testing equipment.
4. Maintaining of Quality records assists in preparation of Hand over package/ dossiers.
5. Ensure availability of appropriate version of applicable work documents such as Drawings, Specifications and Standards.
6. Witness procedures, tests and certify the results as per approved QCP/ITP
7. Report Quality activities, monitor performance indicators related respective discipline
8. Liaison with Client representatives/ Vendor representatives on matters related to Quality.
9. Assists in Auditing - internal and external, and follow up of Corrective Actions (internal external).
10. Provide sufficient feed back to Lead Quality Manager/Head on the day to day quality issues.
