The Design Engineer role involves working on enquiries/ RFQs/ tenders on Bellows, Hose, pressure parts,
piping accessories obtained from existing and prospective customers. In this, the engineer has to perform hand
calculations (empirical) involving principles of Mechanical Engineering. As part of finalizing the design he is
expected to draft for the proposed solution. The design engineer will attend to customer clarifications, spec
changes, customer request for additional information and is responsible for obtaining design package approval.
The engineer will also be involved in purchasing raw materials/ bought out items for making the product. The
design engineer will participate in production planning, manufacturing, quality activities as part of the
manufacturing of the order. This role also involves serving as the project coordinator where required
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use Thermodynamics, Applied Mechanics, Mechanics of Machines and Manufacturing
Technology in performing calculations for Bellow Design
- Draft 2D sketch of Expansion Joints using AutoCad and 3D models in Solidworks
- Apply Engineering principles in prototyping product variants and leading machine
improvements on the shopfloor
- Visit Customer installations to solve issues, install supplied products where required.
- Organize Quotes and place orders on vendors for raw material, bought out items,

Must-have Skills:
· Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
· Strong fundamental knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles (Thermodynamics, Mechanics).
· Ability to perform manual engineering calculations
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Prior knowledge of Bellow Expansion Joints.
- Exposure to Boiler Pressure Vessel Codes (ASME/IBR).
- Knowledge of Wildfire software.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
