Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Electrical with strong expertise in Genset (DG) installations, power systems, and MEP project execution. The role involves end-to-end project delivery including planning, execution, budgeting, stakeholder coordination, and client management across industrial and commercial projects.
Candidates from reputed organizations like Voltas, Blue Star, or similar MEP/EPC companies will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead execution of electrical and genset projects from initiation to commissioning
- Prepare detailed project schedules, execution plans, and resource allocation
- Ensure adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards
Site & Installation Management
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of DG sets, LT/HT panels, and systems
- Manage contractors, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
Team & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams
- Lead site engineers, supervisors, and technicians
- Conduct project review meetings and reporting
Costing & Budget Control
- Monitor project costs and ensure profitability
- Handle BOQs, billing certifications, and vendor negotiations
- Optimize procurement and material usage
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory and electrical standards
- Conduct inspections and quality audits
- Resolve site-level technical issues
Required Skills & Competencies
- Experience in Genset / DG installation and commissioning
- Hands-on experience in MEP / EPC / Electrical Projects
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, DG synchronization, panels, and cabling
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong project execution and planning capability
Preferred Background
- Experience in MEP/EPC companies, genset manufacturers, or power solution providers
- Exposure to large industrial/commercial projects
- Experience in multi-site execution
Education
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
