Job Summary
DevSecOps Platform & Tooling Engineer internal Mission Ensure stable, secure, and efficient operation of the DevSecOps tooling ecosystem, enabling teams to deliver high-quality software through standardized, integrated, and governed platforms. Responsibilities The key responsibilities of the DevSecOps Platform & Tooling Engineer are: • Administer and support DevSecOps tools (Atlassian, GitHub, GitHub Copilot, JFrog Artifactory, SonarCloud, New Relic, test automation tools, etc.) • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve L2/L3 issues across tools, pipelines, and integrations, driving root cause analysis and preventive improvements • Manage user access, permissions, and licenses across the toolchain • Continuously enhance tool integrations to enable end-to-end DevSecOps workflows • Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines and execution environments (runners, agents, builds) • Ensure repository, artifact, and code quality governance (branching, PR reviews, quality rules) • Maintain monitoring, alerting, and incident support capabilities • Support test automation platforms and execution infrastructure • Enable developer productivity tools and environments (IDE support, plugins, integrations) • Continuously enforce and evolve security, compliance, and governance standards • Maintain and support on-premise platforms (e.g., Bitbucket, Bamboo) where applicable. Key skills/experiences: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related fields. • 5+ years of industry experience in Software Engineering or relevant fields. • Strong DevSecOps tooling expertise with a continuous improvement mindset to evaluate, optimize, and modernize the toolchain • Hands-on experience managing enterprise tools such as Atlassian (Jira/Confluence), GitHub, JFrog, SonarCloud, and New Relic • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Shell, PowerShell, Python, Groovy) for automation, integrations, and tool customization
Key Responsibilities
- Experience with Linux/Windows environments, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure components supporting CI/CD (runners, networking) • Strong expertise in Git, branching strategies, repository governance, and pull request processes • Knowledge of DevSecOps security principles, access management, vulnerability management, and software supply chain risks • Ability to configure and manage integrations across tools using APIs, webhooks, and plugins • Experience with monitoring tools, alerting, dashboards, and incident management practices • Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, and their integration into CI/CD pipelines • Experience supporting IDEs and developer environments, including plugins and integrations • Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex toolchain and integration issue
