Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Management & NOC Engineer to join our dynamic IT operations team. In this role, you will focus on proactively and reactively handling IT incidents to minimize disruption and ensure smooth business operations. You will play a vital role in defending information technology (IT) networks from malicious attacks, monitoring network connectivity, and preventing data outages. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, sharp problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to infrastructure monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Perform proactive and reactive monitoring, including network, server, link, and Syslog monitoring.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor device performance (CPU utilization, memory utilization, error logs) and generate corresponding usage and bandwidth reports.
- Incident & Ticket Management: Follow strict escalation matrices and coordinate directly with resolver groups during high-priority incidents until resolution. Handle Service Requests and prepare MIS data for assigned, resolved, pending, and transferred tickets.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate directly with ISPs to resolve external connectivity issues.
- Documentation & CMDB: Maintain network diagrams, keep track of infrastructure inventory, and regularly update the CMDB.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work alongside other internal and external teams for various support requirements and issue resolutions.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in infrastructure monitoring, IT operations, or a similar role.
- Shift Flexibility: Must be comfortable working in a rotational shift environment onsite in Vadodara.
Technical Skills & QualificationsMust-Have Skills:
- Strong proficiency with enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, LogicMonitor, Micro Focus, or ScienceLogic.
- Solid understanding of core ITIL Processes (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).
- Proven knowledge of performance monitoring, availability monitoring, capacity management, and Command Centre operations.
- Deep understanding of server, network, and storage alerts alongside their proper remediations.
- Strong technical knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
- Hands-on proficiency with monitoring tools like LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, etc.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Working knowledge of ITSM tools, specifically ServiceNow.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in general business applications like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Any formal certification for infrastructure monitoring tools is a major plus.
Pay: Up to ₹1,600,000.00 per year
