QA Tester / Junior QA Tester

Nitwebs is looking for a QA Tester / Junior QA Tester to join our growing team. We welcome freshers and candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are interested in building a career in software testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Understand requirements and prepare test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, UI, and usability testing.
- Identify, report, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools.
- Re-test bugs after fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved.
- Perform basic API testing using Postman.
- Perform basic database testing using SQL.
- Conduct cross-browser and basic device testing.
- Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure product quality.
- Maintain testing documentation and reports.
- Learn and gradually work with automation testing tools.
Requirements
- 0–1 year of experience in software testing/QA.
- Freshers with relevant training, internships, or academic projects are welcome.
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and STLC.
- Knowledge of test cases, bug reporting, and regression testing.
- Basic knowledge of Postman/API testing and SQL is an advantage.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, or any automation tool is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the QA/testing field.
