Job Description: High School English and Social Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
Teach English language and literature and social Teacher to high school students (Grades 6–10).
Prepare lesson plans according to the school curriculum.
Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
Conduct classroom activities, discussions, and assessments.
Evaluate students through tests, assignments, and examinations.
Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress.
Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills.
Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school events.
Support extracurricular activities such as debates, drama, and literary clubs.
Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in English / B.A. (English) BA /MA.
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) preferred or required.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Skills Required:
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Classroom management ability.
Creativity in teaching methods.
Ability to motivate and guide students.
Experience:
1–3 years of teaching experience preferred (freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply).
