Role Overview
MIS cum Personal Secretary to the Managing Director will be responsible for collecting, consolidating, analyzing, and presenting critical business information from various departments and group companies in a concise, management-friendly format to facilitate strategic decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, exceptional follow-up capabilities, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission of reports and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc MIS reports for the Managing Director in a concise dashboard format.
- Collect, consolidate, validate, and analyze business data from Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, Production, Purchase, Supply Chain, Quality, Projects, and Group Companies.
- Develop interactive dashboards and management reports using Power BI, Tableau, and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Generate business insights, trends, variance analysis, and performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Establish robust reporting mechanisms and ensure timely receipt of reports from all stakeholders.
- Rigorously follow up with departmental heads and group company representatives to ensure adherence to reporting timelines.
- Track key business KPIs and highlight deviations, risks, and pending action points to the Managing Director.
- Prepare presentations, business summaries, review notes, MOMs (Minutes of Meetings), and executive dashboards for management reviews.
- Maintain confidentiality of all strategic business information and executive communications.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for MD review meetings and ensure closure of action items within defined timelines.
- Assist the Managing Director in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing critical business reviews and follow-ups.
- Continuously improve MIS formats and reporting automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Skills & Qualification
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of experience in MIS, Business Analytics, Executive MIS, or Executive Assistant/Personal Assistant roles supporting CXOs or senior leadership.
- Prior experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Healthcare, or Manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Excellent expertise in Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, Advanced Formulas, Dashboards, VBA preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau.
- Strong data interpretation and business analysis capabilities.
- Outstanding coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent follow-up and deadline management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for data accuracy.
