Key Responsibilities
* Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.
* Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation.
* Monitor warehouse productivity and implement best practices to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
* Lead, motivate, and develop warehouse teams to achieve operational goals and maintain high performance.
* Coordinate with procurement, merchandising, logistics, transportation, and retail store teams to ensure timely stock availability and replenishment.
* Monitor stock movement, ageing inventory, shrinkage, and inventory accuracy.
* Ensure adherence to warehouse SOPs, health & safety standards, and statutory compliance.
* Analyse operational data, prepare MIS reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory accuracy, order fulfilment, dispatch timelines, and productivity.
* Identify process improvement opportunities and implement operational excellence initiatives.
* Handle vendor coordination, logistics partners, and third-party warehouse service providers where applicable.
* Ensure timely resolution of operational issues while maintaining service levels.
* Support business growth by optimising warehouse capacity, manpower planning, and operational workflows.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline.
* Minimum **6 years of experience in Retail Operations**, preferably managing warehouse or distribution centre operations.
* Experience across any retail segment, including Fashion, Apparel, FMCG, Grocery, Electronics, Consumer Durables, Lifestyle, Home Furnishing, Footwear, or E-commerce.
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, supply chain processes, and retail operations.
* Experience working with ERP systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and operational reporting.
* Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in omnichannel retail operations.
* Exposure to warehouse automation and process improvement initiatives.
* Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is an advantage.
* Familiarity with barcode, RFID, and inventory tracking technologies.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
