Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated interns who are interested in building a career in sales and business development. The Sales Intern will support the Expo Sales team in identifying potential exhibitors, reaching out to prospects, generating leads, and assisting in the promotion and sale of exhibition participation opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in generating and qualifying prospective exhibitor leads.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients from the travel and tourism industry.
- Make outbound calls and send emails to prospective exhibitors.
- Explain exhibition offerings and benefits to potential participants.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication with prospects.
- Update and maintain client information and sales activities in internal databases and spreadsheets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and documentation.
- Support the sales team during exhibitions and promotional activities when required.
- Prepare basic reports on lead status and follow-up activities.
Eligibility
- Final-year students or recent graduates from any discipline.
- Strong interest in sales, marketing, and business development.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to interact confidently with clients.
- Prior internship or participation in college events will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
