Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and results-driven Freight Brokers to join our growing logistics team. Both freshers and experienced professionals are encouraged to apply.
As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for connecting shippers with carriers, negotiating freight rates, managing transportation operations, and ensuring timely delivery of shipments. Freshers will receive training and mentorship to develop industry knowledge and brokerage skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure freight opportunities from shippers and customers.
- Source and coordinate reliable carriers for shipments.
- Negotiate rates with shippers and trucking companies.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and carriers.
- Resolve shipment issues and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of loads, pricing, and communications.
- Meet sales and brokerage performance targets.
- Generate new business through calls, emails, and networking.
RequirementsFreshers
- Graduate or equivalent qualification.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer and internet proficiency.
- Willingness to learn the logistics and transportation industry.
- Positive attitude and eagerness to build a sales career.
Experienced Candidates
- Previous experience in freight brokerage, logistics, transportation, dispatch, or supply chain operations preferred.
- Knowledge of load boards, carrier sourcing, and freight negotiations.
- Existing shipper or carrier relationships are a plus.
- Proven ability to manage freight transactions independently.
