We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Lower Primary Head to lead and mentor the Grade 1 & 2 team while ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student development. The ideal candidate should be passionate about primary education, possess strong people skills, and be committed to creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. or EECed (Early Childhood Education) is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in the Foundational Section (Nursery to Grade 2) of a reputed CBSE/ICSE/International school.
- Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in an academic leadership role such as Coordinator, Incharge, or Team Leader will be preferred.
- CTET qualification will be preferred.
- Sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum, assessment practices, NEP 2020, and the National Curriculum Framework – Foundational (NCF-FS).
- Experience in curriculum planning, teacher mentoring, lesson observations, and academic monitoring.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good understanding of child psychology and foundational learning.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Effective classroom observation and coaching skills.
- Ability to analyse student performance data and implement improvement plans.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
