Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Automation & Digital Strategy
Lead full-cycle automation projects for E&E component lines, ensuring scalability and flexibility.
Design and deploy robotic systems, Industry 4.0, IoT-enabled devices, and sensor-based solutions.
Integrate PLC, robotics, AI/ML algorithms, and 3D vision systems for predictive quality and process optimization.
Implement MES, SCADA, and IoT platforms for real-time monitoring, traceability, and analytics.
Process Excellence & Quality
Apply APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and other quality tools to ensure uncompromising quality.
Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives including digital twins, predictive maintenance, and smart factory solutions.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO standards, and EHS guidelines.
Supplier Collaboration
Work closely with Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers for automation projects, equipment selection, and process standardization.
Build and maintain strong industry connections for technology scouting and partnerships.
Machine & Equipment Selection
Evaluate and select the right machines, robots, and automation equipment for optimal performance and ROI.
Ensure alignment with process capability, safety, and future scalability.

Experience
12-15 years of experience in automation for automotive E&E components.
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
General Requirements
Expertise in industrial automation, robotics, IoT, and MES integration.
Strong knowledge of AI/ML applications, 3D vision, and sensor technologies.
Familiarity with automotive electronics assembly processes and quality tools (APQP, PPAP).
Ability to evaluate and select machines/equipment for automation lines.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Strong industry network for technology partnerships.
