Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to support merchandising operations for Home Décor, Kitchenware, Wall Décor, Decorative Accessories, Candle Holders, Lanterns, Photo Frames, Vases, Decorative Boxes, and related handicraft export products.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience working with a Home Décor, Handicrafts, Giftware, Houseware, Kitchenware, or Export House company and be familiar with export merchandising processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in handling buyer inquiries and order execution.
- Coordinate with buyers, vendors, factories, and internal teams.
- Follow up on sampling, product development, and approvals.
- Track production status and ensure timely deliveries.
- Prepare costing sheets, purchase orders, and order documentation.
- Coordinate with quality and production teams to maintain standards.
- Monitor shipment schedules and order timelines.
- Maintain merchandising records, reports, and buyer communications.
- Support product sourcing and vendor management activities.
Required Experience
- 2–5 years of experience as Assistant Merchandiser, Merchandiser, or Merchandising Coordinator.
- Experience in Home Décor, Handicrafts, Kitchenware, Giftware, Houseware, Decorative Accessories, Home Furnishing, or Export House industry is mandatory.
- Knowledge of export merchandising processes.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
