Location: Mumbai
Core Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling & Detailing: Develop accurate 3D structural elements (foundations, columns, beams, slabs) and parametric families in Autodesk Revit.
- Documentation: Generate structural layout plans, sections, elevations, and detailed shop/fabrication drawings.
- Interdisciplinary Coordination: Align the structural model with architectural and MEP models to spot and resolve spatial clashes before construction begins.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality control checks on the model and drawings to ensure they comply with international building codes and project standards.
- Model Management: Assist BIM Coordinators in maintaining the health of the central Revit model, managing worksets, and updating models throughout the project lifecycle.
- Model Oversight & Team Coordination: Oversee the work of BIM Modelers, review model quality, ensure adherence to BIM standards, and provide technical guidance to the team.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure BIM deliverables are completed accurately and within project timelines.
- Model Management: Take ownership of the central Revit model, manage worksets, linked models, and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Drafting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Structure and AutoCAD. Knowledge of clash detection tools like Navisworks is highly preferred.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, structural steel detailing, and reinforced concrete.
- Experience: Typically requires 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience in structural modeling within engineering or construction firms.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
