Job Description:
We are seeking a Stores Incharge/Supervisor to oversee our inventory and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, ensuring timely material availability, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation and regular stock audits.
- Monitor stock levels, reorder materials as needed, and minimize wastage.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for store management.
- Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage store staff, allocate tasks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Use inventory management software to track and report stock movements.
- Prepare and maintain records of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) & LIFO (Last In, First Out) inventory management practices.
- Identify and address discrepancies in stock levels and take corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in store management, preferably in a manufacturing or packaging industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management software.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
