Job Title: CRM Quality Engineer (Manual Testing)
Overview
Bright Horizons is seeking a detail-oriented CRM Quality Engineer (Manual Testing) to support quality assurance activities across our CRM platforms and customer engagement applications. This role will be responsible for validating business requirements, executing test scenarios, identifying defects, and ensuring high-quality releases across CRM initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have experience testing CRM applications, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business, product, and development teams in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution (50%)
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate CRM workflows, business processes, and system integrations.
- Ensure all delivered functionality meets business and quality expectations.
Defect Management (20%)
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Conduct retesting and validation of fixes.
Business & Stakeholder Collaboration (15%)
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and CRM stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Provide testing status updates and quality insights to project teams.
Data Validation & Reporting (15%)
- Validate CRM data integrity and business rules.
- Perform backend validation using SQL queries where required.
- Support UAT activities and production validation efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in Manual Testing or Quality Engineering.
- Experience testing CRM applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
- Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, and test execution reports.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
- Knowledge of CRM modules such as Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, or Customer Engagement.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience testing APIs and system integrations.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or similar test management tools.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale applications and distributed teams.
