Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee end-to-end accounting operations and ensure accurate maintenance and finalization of books of accounts.
· Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
· Ensure timely closure of accounts and accurate financial reporting to management.
· Review and approve bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
· Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances, ensuring timely filing of returns and payments.
· Handle assessments, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities and regulatory bodies.
· Coordinate and manage statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and other regulatory audits.
· Design, implement, and strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
· Lead and mentor the accounts team by reviewing accounting entries, assigning responsibilities, and ensuring high-quality financial reporting.
· Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, and payables to support effective financial management.
· Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, budgets, forecasts, and management reports to support business decisions.
· Identify opportunities for tax optimization, cost control, and process automation while maintaining compliance.
· Liaise with auditors, banks, financial institutions, consultants, and government authorities.
· Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST laws, and other applicable statutory regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
· CA Qualified / CA (Inter) / Semi-Qualified CA.
· 5–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
· Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
· Experience in statutory, internal, and tax audits.
· Hands-on experience in financial reporting, finalization of accounts, and MIS reporting.
· Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Hands-on experience with TallyPrime/ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
