The role requires strong technical skills and a high priority on safety.Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation: Safely assemble and install AC units, including window ACs, split ACs, and centralized systems, according to manufacturer blueprints and specifications.Maintenance: Perform routine preventative checkups to maximize system lifespan and efficiency (e.g., cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels).Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using measuring gauges, multimeters, and pressure meters.Repairs: Perform timely emergency repairs, replace damaged parts, and complete warranty services.Customer Service: Advise clients on system usage, recommend energy-efficient practices, and maintain clear records of services performed.Safety Compliance: Ensure all tasks comply with regional safety standards and building codes.Essential Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Training: High school diploma, followed by a formal HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) certification or apprenticeship.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of thermodynamics, electrical wiring, plumbing, and refrigerant management.Tool Proficiency: Ability to safely use industry tools, including acetylene torches, pipe cutters, voltmeters, and manifold gauges.Physical Stamina: Capacity to lift heavy equipment and perform work in varying environments, including roofs and confined spaces
