We are looking for a motivated Backend Intern (Java) with a strong foundation in Java programming and backend development. This role is ideal for freshers with relevant project experience who are eager to learn and build scalable backend applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Debug and resolve application issues.
- Work with databases to store and retrieve application data.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement new features.
- Follow coding standards, participate in code reviews, and write unit tests.
- Stay updated with the latest backend development technologies and best practices.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Basic understanding of Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with SQL databases (such as MySQL or PostgreSQL).
- Basic knowledge of JSON, API integration, and HTTP concepts.
- Familiarity with Git or any version control system.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. (Computer Science/IT), BCA, MCA, or equivalent.
- 0–1 year of backend development experience or relevant academic/internship projects.
- Knowledge of Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, or Maven/Gradle is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of authentication (JWT), Docker, or cloud platforms is a plus.
