Job Position: Quality Engineer
Job Title: Sr Engineer – QA & QC
Department: Quality
Job Summary: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Engineer – QA & QC to join our team at Kanakapura. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through effective implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems in line with IATF 16949 standards. The role involves managing internal and customer audits, handling quality issues, analyzing process data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate should have hands-on experience with injection molded and sheet metal components, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement and maintain quality documents in compliance with IATF standards
· Conduct process audits and coordinate external/customer audits
· Ensure quality of incoming, in-process, and final products
· Handle quality issue, CAPA, and root cause analysis
· Monitor and analyze process performance using SPC and other tools
· Develop and maintain documentation including control plans, FMEAs, and inspection reports
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement,
· Understand the engineering drawings,
Preferred Candidate Profile:
· Proficiency in quality tools and manufacturing processes
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Good communication skills and team collaboration
· Preference will be given to Kannadiga candidates
Qualification:
· Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience Required:
· 6 to 7 years in Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Hands-on experience with:
· Injection molded components
· Sheet metal components
· Quality systems and standards including IATF 16949,
· Conducting and facing Customer Audits and Internal Audits
· Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
· Knowledge in PPAP documents,
· Handling the measuring instruments,
· Preparing quality performance data (Rejection & Rework PPM)
· CTC-7 TO 8 LPA
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
