JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Sr. PRESS TOOL DESIGNER.
Role Overview:
In this role, you will leverage your extensive experience in tool design and engineering to create cutting-edge solutions that enhance product functionality and production efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute design projects from conception through prototyping and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
· Lead the tool design team and development of complex press tooling solutions, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards
· Utilize VISI CAD CAM software and advanced modelling techniques to produce detailed design documentation and specifications
· Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing tooling and implement iterative improvements to enhance performance and reduce costs
· Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of tools into production processes
· Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on best practices in press tool design and development
· Stay abreast of industry trends, materials, and technologies to ensure innovative tooling solutions
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering / Diploma in Tool & Making Industrial Design, or a related field.
· 8+ years of experience in precision press tool design, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
· Proficiency in VISI CAD CAM software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or AutoCAD
· Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Preferred:
· Diploma in Tool & Die Making.
· Experience with precision press tools & dies or manufacturing processes
· Familiarity with simulation software for tool performance analysis
· Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
· Expertise in VISI CAD CAM software modelling and drafting techniques.
· Strong knowledge of materials science and tooling materials.
· Hands on experience in design of precision progressive dies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
