Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Set up, program, and operate hydraulic and CNC press brakes/bending machines to shape metal sheets or tubes.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and work orders to determine bend angles, dimensions, and sequences .
- Tooling & Setup: Select and install appropriate dies, clamps, and punches . Adjust pressure, speed, and gauge settings based on material thickness and type (e.g., copper, aluminum, or steel).
- Quality Control: Perform first-piece and random checks on components using precise measuring instruments like vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Material Management: Safely handle, load, and position raw materials, ensuring they are free from defects and lubricant is applied where necessary.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery, clean the workspace, and report mechanical failures or defects to supervisors .
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: ITI, Diploma in Mechanical, or a related electrical trade certification.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience operating CNC press brakes or manual bending equipment.
- Technical Proficiencies: Strong mathematical aptitude, spatial awareness, and ability to read fabrication drawings.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
