Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities related to steel structures, fabrication and erection.
- Study engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, GA drawings and work specifications.
- Coordinate fabrication, material movement, erection and installation activities.
- Monitor structural steel erection, welding, bolting, alignment and leveling work.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, maintenance, stores, contractors and vendors.
- Check measurements, dimensions, levels and alignment of structures and equipment.
- Monitor manpower, machinery, tools and material requirements at the site.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors for timely completion of assigned work.
- Identify site issues, technical problems and execution delays and report them to management.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and materials to minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with QA/QC personnel for inspection and quality approval.
- Ensure welding, cutting, grinding, drilling and fabrication activities follow approved procedures.
- Monitor installation of machinery, platforms, pipelines, supports and other plant structures where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements and work permits.
- Coordinate lifting and erection activities with crane operators and rigging teams.
- Participate in project planning, scheduling and progress review meetings.
- Verify contractor bills and work measurements where required.
- Maintain records of materials received, consumed and balance materials.
- Ensure housekeeping and proper storage of materials at the work site.
- Support commissioning, trial runs and handover of completed work.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
