We are hiring Pre-Authorization Specialists at our Kakkanad office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the intake process, coordinating referrals, verifying insurance information, and assisting with patient onboarding for home health and hospice services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming referrals and maintain referral records
- Create and update patient information in the electronic medical record system
- Follow up with case managers and referral sources as needed
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage requirements
- Communicate insurance-related information to patients
- Coordinate with physicians to support order completion
- Conduct welcome calls to gather and confirm patient details
- Assess patient eligibility for services based on basic criteria
- Communicate with internal teams when patients cannot be accepted
- Ensure all required documentation is completed and recorded accurately
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in US healthcare
- Prior experience in home health is an added advantage
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
