Job Overview
We are looking for a creative, trend-aware, and execution-focused Social Media Lead to build and manage a strong content presence across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
This role combines content strategy, social media management, trend research, content planning, and creative coordination. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently planning and managing content with minimal supervision.
If you spend hours understanding social media trends, constantly think of reel ideas, and know what makes content perform online, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage monthly content calendars
- Research trends, viral formats, and content opportunities
- Develop reel concepts, hooks, captions, and content ideas
- Coordinate with videographers, editors, faculty, and students for content creation
- Manage Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms
- Schedule and publish content consistently
- Monitor engagement, reach, and content performance
- Ensure brand consistency across all content
- Bring fresh content ideas proactively without waiting for instructions
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels and social media trends
- Content planning and social media management
- Canva
- Basic understanding of video editing workflows
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Strong creative thinking and execution ability
Preferred Skills
- CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro
- Photography/Videography knowledge
- Experience managing social media pages
- Understanding of Gen Z content and internet culture
Eligibility
- Freshers with exceptional skills may apply
- 0–3 years of experience preferred
- Portfolio, Instagram handle, or previous work samples are highly preferred
