Designation: Sr. Executive
Role & responsibilities:
A. Core Warehouse Operations & Material Handling
Receipt & Storage: Ensure compliant execution of material receipt, rigid segregation, labeling, and
storage of Raw Materials (RM), Packing Materials (PM), Finished Goods (FG), and Engineering
stores. Ensure storage conditions (temperature/humidity) are monitored and recorded as per protocols.
Dispensing & Delivery: oversee the dispensing booth operations to ensure zero cross-contamination.
Guarantee timely and accurate material delivery to the Production department based on manufacturing
orders.
Reverse Logistics: Manage the complete lifecycle of returned or recalled goods, ensuring they are
quarantined immediately and processed according to regulatory guidelines.
Space Optimization: Continually assess warehouse layout and racking systems to optimize
volumetric efficiency and material flow.
B. ERP & Systems Management
Digital Transformation: Serve as the primary process owner for digital transformation in the store.
Transactional Accuracy: Monitor real-time preparation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and timely
posting of Goods Issue to production orders. Ensure the system stock matches physical stock at all
times.
C. Inventory Control & Integrity
Lifecycle Management: Manage material aging effectively. Ensure proper handling of Retest, Expiry,
and Near-Expiry materials. Trigger alerts to procurement /production to prevent write-offs.
Reconciliation: execute periodic stock-taking (cycle counts and annual physical verification). Ensure
strict accounting of materials and reconciliation with Finance records.
Loss Investigation: Lead thorough investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any inventory
variances or losses. Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to prevent recurrence.
Disposal: Monitor the compliant disposal or destruction of rejected raw materials, packing materials,
and finished goods in accordance with environmental and hazardous waste regulations.
D. Quality Assurance, Compliance & cGMP
Audit Readiness: Champion the preparation for major audits, including ISO, WHO-GMP, EUGMP
and other regulatory bodies. Ensure the facility is "audit-ready" every day.
Internal Compliance: Conduct regular internal audits and self-inspections. Ensure all legal
requirements and warehouse licenses (e.g., explosive, fire, pollution control) are valid and complied
with.
SOP Management: Review, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Ensure that any
process change is immediately reflected in a revised SOP.
Hygiene & Safety: Enforce strict Good Storage Practices (GSP) and cGMP. Maintain high standards
of hygiene, pest control, and safety (PPE usage, fire safety) within the warehouse areas.
E. Team Leadership, Training & Strategy:
Team Development: Lead the Engineering team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Training: Identify training needs for department personnel and ensure adequate training is provided to
close skill gaps.
Audits: Participate in and lead self-inspections and internal audits to maintain department readiness.
