About The Role:
We’re looking for a full-time Music Producer & Coordinator who can own the music journey across our shows - from understanding scripts and emotional beats, to sourcing tracks, building episode-wise music direction, and producing background music when required.
We’re looking for a full-time Music Producer & Coordinator who can own the music journey across our shows. This journey would range from creating original scores and music that matches and elevates screenplay, sourcing from third party libraries when required to
specific music arrangement work as per edits.
This role sits at the intersection of music production, music curation and episode-level coordination. This is for someone with a wide ranging taste in music, shows and films, ability and passion in equal parts for music production (not restricted by eras, genres or
vibes) and the willingness to be disciplined and consistent in execution.
What You’ll Do:
- Read scripts / watch cuts and identify music requirements across episodes
- Produce original music for scenes across romance, drama, comedy, montage,
heartbreak, nostalgia, and youth-driven storytelling
- Curate and source music from stock/licensing platforms, music libraries, and online sources
- Arrange, adapt and/or layer simple music elements, transitions, and cues to better fit the tone and pacing of edits
- Work closely with editors, writers, and creative producers to place music effectively across episodes
- Manage episode-level music coordination, including:
- track selection
- cue references
- music file organisation
- versioning and handover to editors
- Maintain a clear music library / tracker for all shows, episodes, and approved assets
- Help shape the sonic identity of ListenTBH app originals over time
What We’re Looking For:
- Competence and experience in music production and comfort creating background
music and/or scores for all types of moods and vibes
- Familiarity with stock music / licensing platforms and music sourcing workflows
- Proficiency in at least one professional DAW
- Strong understanding of music in cinematic storytelling, especially romance, drama, comedy, nostalgia, and emotionally driven youth content
- Organised and detail-oriented with strong file management and coordination skills
- Comfortable collaborating with writers, editors, and producers in a fast-moving creative environment
Bonus If You:
- Play keys or guitars
- Have any songwriting experience
- Are familiar with integrating AI within music production workflows
- Have access to a wide range of potential musical collaborators
