To support our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Accountant who will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting statutory compliance activities. The ideal candidate should possess sound accounting knowledge, proficiency in Tally, and a basic understanding of GST regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Record and reconcile daily sales, purchase, receipt, and payment entries.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow transactions.
- Generate invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and related accounting documents.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support GST-related documentation, record maintenance, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal departments as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Additional accounting certifications will be considered an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, or trading industries will be preferred.
Language Proficiency
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime
- Basic knowledge of GST and accounting compliance
- Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional integrity
