Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business across digital marketing services and Tamil digital media advertising.
The ideal candidate should be confident in client acquisition, sales, presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads and acquire new clients for digital marketing services.
- Sell SEO, performance marketing, social media, branding, and lead-generation solutions.
- Develop advertising and sponsorship opportunities for our Tamil digital news platform.
- Sell show sponsorships, branded content, video ads, interviews, and digital advertising packages.
- Build relationships with businesses, marketing teams, media agencies, and PR agencies.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Maintain a sales pipeline and achieve monthly revenue targets.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth client onboarding.
Requirements
- 2–5+ years of experience in Business Development, Digital Marketing Sales, Media Sales, or Advertising Sales.
- Strong client acquisition and negotiation skills.
- Existing network among businesses, agencies, or marketing professionals in Chennai/Tamil Nadu is an advantage.
- Good understanding of digital marketing and advertising.
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English.
- Self-driven and target-oriented.
