Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our
dynamic team in the Freight Forwarding industry. In this role, you will be responsible for
generating new business leads, nurturing relationships, and driving sales in the global
logistics and supply chain sector.
Key Responsibilities:
o Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through cold calling,
emails, and other outreach methods.
o Qualify inbound leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
o Qualify leads and schedule appointments for external sales teams.
o Conduct market research to identify potential clients within the freight
forwarding sectors.
o Provide clients with accurate and relevant information about our freight
forwarding services, including international shipping and handle client
inquiries.
o Present customized solutions to meet client needs, focusing on cost-effective,
timely, and reliable services.
o Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing for freight forwarding services.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to
ensure their satisfaction.
o Collaborate with external sales representatives to support their efforts in
closing deals and maintaining client relationships.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
o Minimum 1- 2 years of inside sales experience in freight forwarding, NVOCC,
or logistics-related industries.
o Strong understanding of freight forwarding, NVOCC operations, and
international shipping.
o Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas.
Skills:
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
o Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
o Understanding of international shipping regulations, documentation, and
processes.
