JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Sr. Executive
Experience: 4 to 8 years
Qualification: Post Diploma Industrial Safety/ Fire & Safety
Role & responsibilities
- Lead and monitor overall EHS operations and ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations.
- Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste and chemicals as per environmental norms.
- Develop and implement EHS policies, SOPs, emergency response plans, and safety training programs.
- Coordinate with plant operations, maintenance, and management teams to maintain a safe workplace.
- Monitor PTW system, PPE compliance, fire safety systems, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Maintain EHS documentation, legal compliance records, audit reports, and regulatory data.
- Guide and supervise junior safety staff and promote safety culture across the organization.
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: Post Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS) minimum required.
- Experience: 4-7 years in EHS/Safety role, preferably in hazardous waste management, chemical, manufacturing, or environmental services industry.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Safety, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HIRA, PTW, Fire Safety, and statutory compliance.
- Leadership, reporting, communication, and team handling skills required.
