Architect responsibilities and duties
- Create architectural designs base
- Adjust contracts and designs to meet the changing needs of clients
- Adhere to all industry standards in design
Architect qualifications and skills :
- 4+ years’ experience working in Factory (architectural and structure design)
- Extensive experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineer.
- Advanced communication skills.
- Advanced working knowledge of design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and BIM (Building Information Modeling)
- Strong spatial awareness, mathematical aptitude, and knowledge of construction materials.
Key ResponsibilitiesCivil Works
- Review structural and architectural drawings before execution.
- Coordinate excavation, foundations, RCC works, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishing works.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule.
- Verify quantities and measurements for billing.
- Inspect materials before installation.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare daily progress reports.
- Monitor quality control and workmanship.
Architectural Works
- Review architectural drawings and specifications.
- Supervise finishing works including:
- False ceiling
- Flooring and tiling
- Painting
- Aluminum and glazing works
- Doors and windows
- Waterproofing
- External façade works
- Interior fit-out
- Ensure finishes meet approved quality standards.
- Resolve architectural site issues with consultants and contractors.
- Coordinate architectural interfaces with MEP teams.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with Structural, MEP, Interior, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Electrical teams.
- Attend site coordination meetings.
- Identify project risks and propose solutions.
- Track material requirements and deliveries.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones.
