Store Assistant – Bakery

Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
- Pack bakery products and prepare orders for takeaway.
- Keep the store clean, organised, and well-stocked.
- Refill displays and ensure products are presented attractively.
- Monitor product freshness and report low stock levels.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Support the bakery team with general daily operations as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail, bakery, café, or customer service is an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Honest, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts if required.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and card payments.
