Roles & Responsibilities of Assistant Professor – Physics
Teaching & Academic Delivery
- Deliver lectures on core subjects such as Classical Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Quantum Physics, Thermodynamics, Optics, and Modern Physics.
- Conduct laboratory sessions with hands-on experiments, ensuring safety and accuracy.
- Develop curriculum and update course content in line with UGC/AICTE guidelines and industry trends.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations.
Research & Innovation
- Undertake research projects in specialized areas of physics, contributing to publications in reputed journals.
- Guide student research including dissertations, theses, and innovative projects.
- Collaborate with peers and industry partners to advance scientific inquiry.
- Present findings at conferences, seminars, and workshops.
Mentorship & Student Support
- Advise students on academic progression, career opportunities, and research pathways.
- Provide counseling for students facing academic challenges or requiring special support.
- Encourage participation in academic competitions, seminars, and extracurricular activities.
Departmental & Institutional Contributions
- Participate in committees for curriculum design, examination boards, and quality assurance.
- Support accreditation processes and maintain academic records.
- Organize academic events such as workshops, guest lectures, and conferences.
- Promote outreach by engaging with schools, universities, and industry for knowledge exchange.
Professional Development
- Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and pedagogical methods.
- Pursue continuous learning through training programs, certifications, and research collaborations.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.59 per month
