Job Summary
Hotel Country Inn Smart Stays Gurugram is looking for a customer-focused and enthusiastic Guest Service Associate (Front Office) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by efficiently handling front desk operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and providing prompt assistance to guests throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism while ensuring a memorable arrival experience.
- Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Handle room reservations, modifications, cancellations, and guest inquiries.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to emails in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate guest records and update information in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage departments to ensure seamless guest service.
- Handle guest complaints and requests promptly, escalating issues when required.
- Process guest payments, prepare bills, and maintain cash handling procedures.
- Promote hotel facilities and services to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area.
- Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and brand service standards at all times.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Front Office operations in a hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a guest-centric attitude.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with hotel PMS software (experience with IDS, Opera, or similar systems is an advantage).
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience in branded hotels is preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
- Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Gurugram are encouraged to apply.
