About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Cutlist Maker to join our Modular Interior Production team. This role is ideal for freshers from Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Furniture Design, or Backend Design backgrounds who are interested in furniture manufacturing and production planning.
The candidate will work closely with the Design and Production teams to prepare cutlists, BOMs, and production documents for modular kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, storage units, workstations, and customized furniture.
Candidates with knowledge of Infurnia or similar furniture design software will have an added advantage. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing production cutlists from approved furniture drawings.
- Generate panel-wise cutting details and BOMs.
- Support the production team with manufacturing documentation.
- Coordinate with designers and factory teams for project execution.
- Verify dimensions, materials, and hardware requirements.
- Maintain project records and drawing revisions.
- Assist in optimizing material utilization and reducing wastage.
- Learn modular furniture manufacturing processes and production workflows.
Eligibility
- Fresher or up to 2 years of experience.
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Furniture Design, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related fields.
- Candidates from Interior Backend Design or Modular Furniture Design backgrounds are preferred.
- Basic understanding of furniture drawings and interior layouts.
- Good knowledge of measurements and dimensions.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Infurnia is an added advantage.
- Experience with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, IMOS, Polyboard, or similar software is preferred.
- Understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes, and furniture manufacturing.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
